(Yicai Global) Aug. 13 -- China’s Olympic medal winners have returned home to great riches as businesses fall over themselves to shower them with rewards including endorsements, vehicles and real estate.

All 50 gold-medal winners will been given a Hongqi H9 luxury sedan by Chinese carmaker FAW to celebrate their victory, the Changchun, northeastern Jilin province-based company said on Aug. 5. It will also grant the silver and bronze-medal winners the right to use a Hongqi H9 car.

Clothing firm Youngor Group has gifted Yang Qian, winner of China’s first gold medal at the Tokyo Olympics, a home worth CNY3 million (USD462,900). Chen Yufei, women’s badminton champion, received two homes from two express delivery companies, ZTO Express and Yunda Express.

Chinese table tennis star Wang Nan, who has won 24 world championships, is awarding a home to each of the seven members of the Chinese table tennis team who came in first and second places.

Star sprinter Su Bingtian has become brand ambassador to smartphone giant Xiaomi. Chen Lijun, gold medalist in the men’s 67-kilogram weightlifting class, has been picked by Ping An Health Insurance to represent its brand. Lu Yunxiu, winner of the windsurfing RS:X women’s event, is now chief health officer at healthcare payment and pharmacy platform MediTrust Health.
