(Yicai Global) Jan. 8 -- A new energy product developer based in China's southern Guangdong province will provide a CNY170 million (USD26 million) energy storage system for a 100-megawatt photovoltaic power facility in the autonomous region of Tibet.
Shenzhen Clou Electronics Co. [SHE:002121] signed a deal with a power developer in Tibet to supply a lithium-ion battery system for a solar farm in Nagqu Prefecture, the firm said in a press briefing yesterday.
Clou Electronics will complete the project in the second quarter of this year and the contract will boost the company's competitiveness and influence in the new energy sector, the press announcement said.
