(Yicai) Feb. 28 -- Cainiao will develop a smart management system for the international warehouses run by Spotter, a distributor of cross-border business-to-business trade, the logistics arm of Chinese e-commerce giant Alibaba Group Holding said today as the firm’s smart technology continues to revolutionize the logistics sector.

This is the latest smart warehouse project in Cainiao’s overseas portfolio, as the Hangzhou-based company also provides technological support for Southeast Asian e-commerce platform Daraz and Thai logistics services provider Flash Express.

Spotter helps to position Chinese brands, such as Laifen hair driers and Hellobaby infant products, in overseas markets through its international sales channels. The Chongqing-based firm specializes in distribution to the European and North American markets.

Cainiao is the world’s biggest cross-border e-commerce logistics firm with services in over 200 countries and regions.
